The People are a young Ilkeston rock band bringing energy to the stage with lively performances, drawing inspiration from well known alternative acts and delivering crowd pleasing sets full of attitude and sound.
Despite their age, they have already played respected local venues and continue building confidence and presence, connecting with audiences through familiar songs, strong vocals, and tight playing that captures the spirit of modern alternative rock today.
Biography
The People is a young rock band aged 13–15, playing high-energy covers from bands including Nirvana, Paramore, Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains and Radiohead. Having already performed at Dubrek Studios and The Dog House, they bring plenty of energy and a love of alternative rock to every show.
